Hi, I’m Abby

And I want you to know you’re not alone in this.

Maybe your child is struggling and nothing you’ve tried is helping. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in that exhausting loop of second-guessing every parenting decision. Maybe you’ve reached the point of thinking, “Something has to change… I just don’t know how.”

I see this all the time—loving, thoughtful parents doing everything they can, reading the books, listening to the podcasts, trying to stay patient… and still feeling like they’re white-knuckling it through the day.

We created this practice for you. For the parents trying to hold it all together while healing what they were never taught. For teens who don’t know how to ask for help. For kids whose big feelings feel too big—for them and for you.

My approach is warm, honest, and deeply human. You won’t find judgment here. You will find clarity, compassion, and practical tools that help you breathe a little deeper and finally see a path forward.

This isn’t about “fixing” your family. It’s about healing. And when we focus on connection over correction, everything begins to shift.

If you’re ready for support, I’m here. Let’s figure this out together.

A Little More About My Work

I bring a warm, down-to-earth approach to every session, blending practical strategies with meaningful reflection. I support children, teens, young adults, and families navigating:

Anxiety and emotional regulation

Parenting challenges and burnout

I have over 16 years of experience and specialize in attachment-based therapy and parent-child relationships. My work is grounded in making mental health approachable, skill-based, and truly useful in everyday life.

I integrate evidence-informed approaches such as:

Circle of Security Parenting™,

TF-CBT

EFT

play and art-based interventions

ART

Beyond the therapy room

When I’m not in session, you can usually find me doing all the things that fill my cup — and sometimes spill it a little in the best ways. I’m often on a yoga mat, out for a run, or crafting something with far more enthusiasm than skill. I love camping and spending time outdoors, even when it means coming home with tangled hair and a car full of sand.

Like many of us, I spend a lot of time driving kids from one activity to the next, sipping very necessary coffee, and cheering loudly from the sidelines.

Hi, I’m Kayla I want you to know—there’s nothing wrong with you for feeling overwhelmed.

I work with people who are doing their best every day while quietly wondering if their best is enough. People who are carrying so much, often without anyone truly seeing how much effort it takes. People who want to feel more like themselves again—but aren’t sure where to start.

Together, we slow things down, notice what’s already working, and build on your existing strengths. Like a river, our sessions follow the natural flow of your journey—steady, grounded, and shaped by what you need that day. I offer gentle guidance, practical coping tools, and a calm, safe space where you can breathe a little deeper and begin to feel lighter.

This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you feel supported, capable, and connected again.

If you’re ready for support, I’m here. Let’s take this one step at a time—together.

A Little More About My Work

I support children, teens, and adults navigating:

Children & Adolescents: • Emotion regulation • Anxiety & depression • Grief and pet loss • School stress and academic concerns • Self-esteem • Peer and family relationships

Adults: • Relationship challenges • Work and school stress • Anxiety & depression • Trauma processing • Grief and pet loss • Postpartum anxiety, depression & birth trauma • Parenting tools and support

My work is strengths-based and deeply relational—focused on helping you feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected to yourself and the people you care about. I aim to offer support that feels gentle, practical, and truly usable in everyday life.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Mount Royal University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

Beyond the Therapy Room When I’m not in session, you’ll usually find me outside—soaking up the mountains, camping, paddleboarding, or hiking. Creativity is one of my favourite ways to unwind, so I’m often trying out new recipes, crafts, or art projects with equal parts curiosity and enthusiasm.

Hi, I’m Soumya.

Starting therapy takes courage, especially when you’ve been carrying so much on your own—and you’re not alone in this journey

Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve spent years being strong for others, navigating complex systems, or carrying experiences that were never fully understood or supported. You don’t have to do that alone anymore.

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary, and a background in Alternative Medicine (Ayurveda). With over 16 years of experience supporting individuals, families, children, seniors, and marginalized communities, I bring a deeply compassionate, grounded, and holistic lens to therapy.

My approach is strength-based, client-centred, trauma-informed, solution-focused, and culturally informed. I believe that every person already holds resilience, wisdom, and capacity within them, even when life feels heavy or stuck. Therapy with me is a collaborative space where we honour your lived experience, move at your pace, and focus on what truly matters to you.

I have extensive experience working with individuals impacted by trauma, disability, mental health challenges, chronic stress, systemic barriers, caregiving burnout, and life transitions. In my practice, I support individuals and families navigating relationship challenges, communication breakdowns, intergenerational stress, and periods of change. I also work with women who have experienced abuse, offering a safe, compassionate, and empowering space to heal, reconnect with their strengths, and move forward at their own pace.

My work within government systems, child and family services, disability services, and community mental health has given me a strong understanding of how external systems affect internal well-being. I strive to support clients not just emotionally, but practically and holistically.

I integrate evidence-informed therapeutic approaches with a holistic perspective that considers mind, body, culture, and environment. Sessions with me are grounded, reflective, and practical. You’ll find empathy, clarity, and gentle challenge, along with tools you can actually use in daily life.

Above all, I value creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard, without judgment or pressure to “fix” yourself.

Beyond The Therapy Room

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending meaningful, emotionally connected time with my family. I enjoy road trips, exploring new places, cooking new recipes, trying different cuisines, watching movies, journaling, meditating, and continuously learning. These practices keep me grounded and reflect the importance of presence, curiosity, and balance—values I bring into my work with clients.

If you’re looking for a therapist who sees you as a holistic person and walks alongside you with warmth, insight, and respect, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
